  • We use this great amp (2 even) for rehearsals and street gigs. Check out my channel for live video's of the BA330 in action.

  • No wattage, but it does say it'll handle a room of about 80 people and if your doing an acoustic and vocal show only, your certainly not going to be running it full out in that setting. I think it this kind of environment it would work more the sufficent...I'd like to give it a try and see

  • @lavakava

This is an incredible box. Technology has come a long way.

I have an old 1980 Maganvox boom box that takes eight D cell batteries and doesn't compare to new tech Roland stuff.

Small AA batteries are simply driven through a step-up transformer to create the power.

I also own a Vox DA20 which takes batteries and is an awesome guitar amp. I use it outdoors and never had the volume over 50%. At max setting, I get about 10 hours of full power.

    Amazing technology.

  • It talks about tweeters and speakers. what about the woofers? lol...also roland website doesn't give watts (RMS or PMPO) rating.

i don't think this can be a 'stand-alone'...8 AA batteries? we are talking very little power output.

  • hey do you think this would be loud enough for a campground for loud music ?

  • hey want to buy a portable PA system that i want to take to a music festival. for playing music on. do you think this would be loud enough outdoors at the campground?

  • Just bought one today! It really is all the hype. By itself is great

for a small room but I primarily got it to link up to my roland sa-300 as more of a satellite speaker and it truly is ridiculous!!

    BUY ONE!!

  • 109 db is how many watts?

  • Good point man.

  • To think, I was going to go out and buy the Roland Cube Street amp....

But... lol.. in all actuality I think THIS one might just shit all OVER the 'Street'.
