Installed a GYT-R slip-on exhaust (part #GYT-2C093-01-XX) on a 2008 R6. Did a video comparison between the stock titanium exhaust with the EXUP system, and the GYT-R slip-on without the EXUP or a power commander. Sorry...I realized I didn't rev it up enough with the stock exhaust till I had made the switch and watched the videos. Install took about 15 mins.

  • did you keep the original cat?

  • Look up the TOCE pipe, it looks sweet, and the sound.. oh the sound!

  • Holy distortion

  • I have a GYTR on my 2007 R6 and is really annoying, you need earplugs. I would trade it for stock or Two Brothers any day.

  • GYTR DONE!!!!

  • @tricky415 i understand what you're saying, but overall the power commander is for tuning purposes. if you have a full exhaust, you should be running one regardless if you're racing or not. hp gains will come regardless if you have it or not, but you're A/F ratio will be jacked if you do not have one and get it properly tuned.

  • @lifesuxdie another note. don't get a power commander if you just have a slip on! its a waste of money. you'll only see about 2-3hp boost if you're lucky then u also have to get it custom tuned if you want those best results which is even more money. my tip : save your money, dont waste it on something useless. I'd recommend a power commander if you have a full system and track it and are concerened with those minimal HP gains throughout the rpm band because you are racing it only.

  • just remember people with 06+ r6's, don't buy the SLIP on for noise. its gonna sound pretty much just like stock. If you want a better sound you have to get a mid pipe, or headers that delete the catalytic convertor! Trust me i've been thru it. I got the MJS race headers for $340 off their website. This tremendolously raises the volume on the exhaust and theres a huge noticeable diffrence in sound. Stock headers suck on r6+ because of catalytic convertor attached to it.

  • Hey dude I really liked the 1st one. Where can I get one?
