People have said alot negative about Segal, and possibly he like many have at one time or another rubbed certain people the wrong way, but in the end he was/is a skilled martial artist. Nothing fake about that. Anyone who devotes years of their life to it has my respect for that alone whether I like them personally or not. Is to be respected.

having taken kenpo for 12 years, i can say one thing with certain,aikido works..try and not be complaint..you will feel it.

it doesn't even have to be a world class fighter.
Just a regular practitioner who has thought how to block, difend and how ti difend while striking.

@MyMemorableScenes Its funny as hell when people make comments about them purposely throwing themselves and have never even been to a aikido dojo and have a DAN grade do these techniques on them. Its probably cause they know both limbs will be broken when the leave because they resisted and cant sue cause they would have signed a waivier!

Er....the guy thinks he's 'sort of a god'. He's words. he thinks he's a god. Check out some interviews done on him. It's ridiculous. Yes, he can kick some ass. But man, he's a total fruit-loop with a MASSIVE ego. No humility at all. You want to look up to that, be my guest.

As a cop, I can attest to the usefulness of Akido. I study it, some of it is taught at academy and you have to study it to understand the usefullness of it.

Great demo! Segal is a master, for sure.
BTW If you can't find the music, there's a site called "vidtomp3" which allows you to rip mp3s from YT. That's how I got it. Its going to be the same crappy quality as it is in the vid, but at least you'll have it.
