Canadian here, people die every day waiting for so-called "free" healthcare in Canada.The universal healthcare system is unsustainable in it's current form due to the high costs and our aging demographics.Cain is right, it's needs to be undun, but covertly and slowly because our Healthcare system is a sacred cow.The absolute last thing the USA needs at this point in history is another government entitlement program to pay for because once it's in, it's immpossible to get rid of.Obama knew this!

One of my relatives from scotland had to wait for a year to get a cardiac surgery because of the terrible waiting list problem caused by socialized healthcare.

@mgalore You're referring to the Preamble of the Constitution where it outlines the justification and purpose of the powers granted to the government. If you notice there is NO power granted to government for any influence or involvement whatsoever.

The government has been doing a great deal of things that are unconstitutional; trying to control healthcare is just one of many.

@loganjames9 oh it is very much true, my mother use to work for group health which is a private health insurance company and she dealt with patient records and they were very bureaucratic from what she told me. In fact one story was that a woman with terminal cancer was denied coverage because she had cancer (this being back in 2003). they charge my grandmother who is on a fixed retirement $700 in premieums and she has private health insurance because the medicare she has doesn't cover that much
