the Lib-dems want "proportional representation" for a VERY good reason.
the tories won 36% of the vote, but will get 47% of parliament seats.
labour won 29% of the vote, but will get 39% of the seats in parliament.
lib-dem won 23% of the vote.. but are relegated to 8% in parliament.
and you thought florida 2000 was bad, UK does this every election!!

@andyx1205 Canada is not a country...all we have to do is invade it with some beer

It annoys me that they spell the name of the British Labour Party in the American way. When the UK media talk about the Australian Labor party, they miss out the 'u'. Can't the US media do the same, it's a proper name, for pete's sake!
-
Lol. Well, they got a lot of this wrong in the end...Mind you can't see a Con Lib coalition lasting forever though.

i watched abit of the election coverage on fox news, but i gave up after the 100th mention of socialism

@andyx1205 theyve gotten fuck all of importance done since 2000. Well except the stimulus I guess. I wish it moderated that twat, as he seems to think he has a majority. I blame peter mackay for this, as a former PC supporter but thats just me.

@TheCaptainLulz Well, our country Canada is still better off than our neighbours downstairs, so the system isn't that bad. our system helps us moderate the crazy Conservatives under Stephen Harper
-
those poor bastards. We had that happen here in canada and were still nuncing around with minority governments.
