NOTE: THIS VIDEO IS PART ONE OF A TWO-PART SEGMENT THAT IS MEANT TO ACCOMPANY AN ARTICLE I WROTE FOR www.GamePodunk.com. So if you intend to watch the video, I urge to read the article as well. Here is the link:
http://www.gamepodunk.com/blog/29/entry-385-achieving-the-impossibly-impossib...
The article and video are about how I feel Bungie intended their "Heat in the Pipe" achievement (score 1,000,000 pts in Firefight) to be unlocked and how difficult it is, while at the same time demonstrating an increasingly popular setting modification to make accomplishing this task much easier.
The article and video are not meant to show players how to change the settings and unlock the achievement. They are meant to show how insanely difficult unlocking the achievement is without changing the settings, followed by clips of me unlocking the achievement which are meant for entertainment purposes only.
Remember, for the full experience, check out my article, "Achieving the Impossibly Impossible Achievements" as well as part two of this video on GamePodunk.com. Thanks!
....people keep saying "I got this in X time"...but that's really missing the point...the point has always been that doing it without changing settings is next to impossible, but I don't think that Bungie intended players to change settings, even if they don't prevent you from changing them. I find the achievement extremely difficult to unlock in a legitimate fashion. That's my point. Frankly...I don't care how fast anyone else did it because, again, that wasn't my point.

@Spartan1234ish Yes I understand you can do it quickly but that's not my point...my point has always been that i don't think Bungie sat there and said "let's make an achievement that forces people to change all the settings to get the achievement." Yes, I realize you CAN change the settings, but I don't think this achievement was designed to be unlocked this way, even though Bungie doesn't prevent you from doing this either.

@smackedabbaa hahahaha no...no I did not. I'd like to think it's because I live like 3000 miles away from Washington...it's more likely that I'm underqualified lol

If you play a custom firefight with the right settings you can finish it in 10 minutes.
You fail.

@generalshrooms well...perhaps you're right, but you're kind of missing my point. My point was that I personally doubt that Bungie designed the achievement intending for people to change all the settings and i'm more discussing how ridiculous the achievement is if you actually try to go after the achievement without giving yourself invincibility and crazy other perks...i was never really saying, "This is the easiest way to go after the achievement"
