Hi, thanks for the info, but im still stuck, wondering whats going on in the quantum world. I spin the rotor and two magnets always stop off center of the core. If I put the rotor closer to the core then one magnet stops directly over the core. But the dam thing just wont keep spinning. any pointers?

Hi Dude thx for sharing your knowledge. I'm new to this and I'm playing around with starship coils a bit. As I saw it is possible to create a combination of a starship coil and a bedini cicuit to improve performance of the motor. As far as I know, the starship coil works without an iron core. So how can I trigger the ciruit then, am I forced to use a swich which reads the magnet turns? any help is appreciated thx

by the way, that black cat is yours?
Hey! Great videos, like many on here I'm collecting together components for my first build. As a complete beginner, I don't know what gauge wire to use to connect the various parts (Batteries to coil, coil to circuitry etc). I see Maplin do a range of "equipment wire", could it be one of these? Any advice?

Maplin call it "Enameled Copper Wire"... the precise gauge isn't important but aim for something around 22swg for the primary and 28swg for the trigger ^_^

Correct me if i'm wrong, but you have nothing connected to the middle leg of the pot, therefore turning it will have no effect as the middle leg is where the variability output is ...

@deepcut71 You are correct... :) One wire will connect to the middle leg, and the other can connect to either leg on the sides.

I hope it has nothing to do with Magniwork?
