@spacecowboy7580 Yes, we were kept in.. quite a while I remember... escorted back to the coaches at the cricket ground... I always remember looking back towards the ground seeing a mass of Leeds fans taking up the whole road all the way back to the stadium and being totally amazed by it... very great feeling of belonging to something special... that's how football is.

It's beautiful to see the old standing away ends... and was even better to be in them when your team scored. You would stand in one place...go mental on the goal...and be hugging another loon you have never met before and end up 30 metres from where you were in the first place. Proper energy. Not that my team scored a lot away from home. CTID

I was there too..same end as you...the journey home was fucking ace...I think coppers kept Leeds fans in the ground for a while after the match..am I right?

Can't believe it! I have waited 30 years and 7 months to re-live that again! ....I was there, 13 years old, with me mates, on the fence behind the nets, my first ever away match! Thank you!
