60 mph head on crash

So much for safe Volvos... even if you somehow survived the impact and chest crushing, your legs and groin would be ripped right off... I do feel the proper tests are more realistic though, because in real life you'd both be stomping on the brakes, so 35mph each would be far more typical. Q. Who saw the Mythbusters episode where they proved the impact is NOT doubled by a head-on?

Not sure about what he said regarding new cars. My uncle crashed an s class mercedes head on into some guy who was over taking in a fiat. my grandad was the front seat passenger with no seat belt on (dont ask) and his head smashed into the windscreen but he was totally alright, uncle and all other passengers were not injured. Other driver was dead.

This is really chilling .. we all drive fast at times and just imagine much lighter and newer vehicles are likely crush even worse than these older models, particularly the Asian ones. All the same this is probably the best crash test I've come across on the web

Now do it at 120 mph and the other car 60 mph. Just to see what happen if some speeding idiot hit a car at a regular speed.
