Lol i am a cosmetologist and been one for 3 years..neater partings, and sections contribute to how a haircut will result. A single comb has wide teeth aka for thick/textured hair, fine tooth for finer hair. Wide teeth help to part the hair also..same comb used. Sometimes if a person is uneducated about the tools they use, then there is no point to using all these fancy tools. Same cut can be done with a simple comb.

Triangular partings would result in more of a graduated cut with softer lines, correct? and square would result in a blunt, more defined line. That's what I am understanding from the video.
Dawn, can you please explain the difference between expensive and inexpensive combs. I understand why a quality comb would last longer but not why it would produce a higher quality haircut.

I recommand you to get some italian or japanese clips because is not really comfortable let the hair falls on clients face.

the parting has nothing to do with your design line! 14 years of doing hair tells me that!
