  • Anderson Silva is a pro boxer and he is a ufc champ... Strictly speaking, you wont see a cross over champ though..not anytime soon..

  • @EdDy4RheelZ i dont really care. my point was that every combat sport has an ideal method/style to learn if you wana do well in it.

  • @ravingdave900 Wrong. Boxers have proven their effectiveness in MMA. Although it's not the most ideal, preferred or effective style, it still has proven their effectiveness. Go look up Ray Mercer(Boxing champion) vs Tim Sylvia(UFC Heavyweight champion) and Ray Mercer knocking the fuck out of Tim Sylvia. While Boxing is limited and there are more ideal arts out there to learn Boxing has proven its effective. WC has not and never will.

  • Ryu

  • That Japanese is a boxer also he can TKO the other guy, because that guy always drop his hands without cover his head.

  • @badfoody you talk shit man

  • @elsultan69 but obviously some MA's are better than others for certain rules eg. kicboxing rules, mma rules etc. there will never be a boxer who will be ufc champ, and there will never be a WC practitioner who will be a kicboxing world champ.

  • @ravingdave900 my point was about Wing Chun that the Aussie was trying to imtate and prove in this match ... i'm not saying WC is a bad martial art , what i'm saying is people who don't master an art like it should be and try to go in a MMA or compete against other MA .. bcuz each has different rules of engagement. It's all about the practitioner and how well can he/she apply the techniques to win in survive.

  • Is that Wing Chun?? It doesn't look like one to me.

  • stop over analyzing it. its just simple punches and kicks, nothing more. thats the problem with martial arts like WC, they overcomplicate everything and it becomes more of a fantasy than reality...
