  • How'd you do the paint effect for the gas tap? Clay?

  • I'm not sure what the gas tap was - it came in a mixed box of lego. The paint effect is just that - a dollop of Dulux white gloss applied with a matchstick! Rick

  • I am a teacher of English for Theatre Purposes in central Europe, and have nothing but gratitude for this remarkable feat of illustration. You've brought to life in a different way a comic song to wonderful effect, and in his mastery of the wheelchair as a prop, what else did Michael himself do? My heartfelt appreciation.

  • Really good. I grew up listening to these songs as my parents had the LP's. Another favourite was the london omnibus song ' If you are lost in London.....Hold very tight please ding ding'

  • Epic! One of my favourite Flanders and Swann songs, love the lego animation - thanks!

  • This is absolutely wonderful! We used to listen to Flanders and Swann on car journeys when I was little so the mixture of this song and lego really takes me back. Thank you!

  • Excellent piece of work! I've always loved this little song.

  • I've been a fan of Flanders and Swann for almost fifty years and one of my great regrets is that I never saw them perform. I was very pleased when CDs of their songs became available. What a great animation this is! I really enjoyed it. Many thanks.

  • I still love this and you can show it to kids as its got Lego in it! so they watch as the Lego men come alive. great song and excellent animation i wish i had the patience to do it myself

  • Really good

  • Flanders and Swann were a superb act and if they were around today they would certainly still be immensely popular. This is one of my favourite songs of theirs and it's great to see a Lego animation of it. More please!

  • I LOVE IT :D! Brilliant animation :)! I'm going to send the URL to all my friends who need cheering up.

  • I've always loved this song. We even sang it in our last choral concert!

Your animation is perfect, and fits the very spirit of the song.
