Hi, This is an updated of my LEGO Data Center.
Thanks for all the mentions and viewings of the previous video.
Really sorry for the shaky camera work. This time there was too much to show and I didn't want to extend the video too much in order to keep it less boring.
Now it is outfitted with security and environment control features including magnetic sensors at 3 access points, a presence sensor in the operations hallway, temperature sensors in the rooms with racks, 1 buzzer for audible alarm. All monitored by an environment controller.
Also attached it is an LEGO RCX brick connected to the environment controller controlling a hidden sliding gate and a moving platform to pop up the security force to hold invaders. :) I Used an RCX instead of NXT as I though it would fit better.
- 5.921 LEGO pieces
- 32 Minifigures
- 1 Light Brick
- 1 m of Fiber Optic strand

- 3 Small Magnets (Neodymium)
- 1 IR Presence Sensor
- 1 Buzzer
