Unfortunately I don't know of anyone off-hand that does this sort of thing on a regular basis. I'm sorry I couldn't be of further help.

I still cant find anyone to paint the cars I have. Do you have any recommendations?
-
Haha ya I feel the same way right now I'm starting high school and they're putting lots of pressure on us! But no worries I've been getting some quotes from around. But do you have any specific places you would recommend?

I would like to but unfortunately, I have such a backlog with my personal projects as it is that I wouldn't dare take on someone elses project given my busy schedule.
-
Would you be willing to do that to my consist? I would pay for it. I've been getting some estimates, so if you are interested could you please message me? Thanks

Hi,
None of the viewliners in this video were custom painted however; I did "custom paint" one viewliner (not shown) applying the phase new Amtrak logo over the old marking (after painting over the old marking of course).
I recently finished painting two baggage cars into the phase IVb paint scheme (a typical paggage car and 1700 series baggage car).
Do a google search for custom model railroad painting. I do my own work but there are companies out there.

Did you have to custom paint the Viewliners, Cafe, Diner, and Coaches into phase V? The reason I'm asking is because I'm only 14 but I have the complete consist for the #92 Silver Star. I had to get everything in phase IV though because Walthers makes the lounges and coaches with the Amfleet II's but only in phase IV and and the Diner baggage and Viewliner's are in phase IV I finally have enough saved up to go get them custom painted somewhere and I'm looking for a good place. Plz let me know.

The "walkway" is actually just a foam board that you can find at a "Micheals", "Staples", "Office Depot", Wal-Mart, etc. I was trying to go for an underground station effect using the board as a base for the station.
At about :35 the third viewliner began to wobble and pitch. Did it derail? Great train.

Dang! I was hoping nobody would notice. The Viewliner didn't derail but the Budd Diner Grill did. Part of this problem can be solved by adjusting the metal contacts below the chassis.
