http://www.FunToWatch.TV Zoom in to solar activity visible on the far side of the Sun from the STEREO Behind spacecraft on January 13, 2011. The images show a young, fast-growing region of the solar atmosphere which creates brightening and ejection of material. These images were taken by STEREO's Extreme UltraViolet Imager (EUVI) . The brightest activity comes from material at temperatures around 1.8 million degrees while the quieter parts of the images have temperatures of only 80,000 deg.
