How do we really help our economy? We need to deflate it a little. I know everyone is saying deflating is gonna be bad, but actually it will help get ourselves back up then when it is then we inflate back up. Inflation happened way to quickly for California and now we are in trouble. Don't you agree?

My example is imagine some working 80hrs bi-weekly with minimum wage $8/h thats $640 before taxes $1280 a month before taxes. Now that person is paying $1000.00 a month to live in a 1 bd apartment 1 bath thats average priced. After taxes depending on on claims. Still that person is not gonna have enough to get food, utilities, gas for the car. Example of that person in trouble and that person can't afford to help economy by buying product because of outrageous prices....

Hourly raise was a good and bad thing to do...good because people are getting a little more money but bad for businesses that have to cut hours to save Labor Costs. So raising labor rates didn't really help. See this State inflated to fast for anyone to afford much of anything. I think we need to lower prices for people to buy products, thats how you keep the economy going...

Make an alcohol tax, 2% alcohol tax would be excellent. If people can afford a $30 bottle of whiskey whats 6 cents, a lot if added up, right? Lowering gas prices affordable for people to drive there car and not the bus can help in sales tax from gasoline. People taking the bus is not helping in sales tax. Why pay almost $80.00 a month in gas $3.20 a gallon when they can ride the bus for $32.00 a month....

If our government has to rely on Gaming Funds to get ourselves out of debt then we need new people in office. California needs new people if they can't think of a better way to get money then California is a lost state. I can think of better ways, making sales tax on Indian Cigarettes, they are American there is no reason why they shouldn't have sales tax, its being a bigot to other people...cont.
