i remember seeing this in the window of 2nd Avenue Records in Portland, OR back in 1990 or so. the cover caught my eye, and even though i didn't know who Nirvana was at the time, i felt that the people hoisting Nirvana up so high were just trying to be cool somehow. so i ignored this, and Bleach until I final heard "territorial pissings" off Nevermind. i finally got the sarcasm and realized that Nirvana was not just another stoner rock band. then they got huge and i started ignoring teen spirit!
