@rocket14781 Punk Rock is more than just a genre of music. It's an attitude. It's a way of life. It's not about fasion trends and looking a certain way. Punk Rock isn't meant to sound perfect and that's the beauty of it. Fuck all of you EMO fags who think that your punk.

Mike McColgan the lead singer was with Dropkick Murphys as lead singer from 96-98. He helped form their sound. That is probably why some of the songs sound similar.
@rocket14781-The general feeling is that Punk started around 1974-1976. To say that a band Street Dogs formed in 2002 "started it all" makes you sound really uninformed, and dismisses 30 years of history. I went to my 1st Punk Rock show in Hollywood in 1981 and saw Social Distortion open for TSOL. And been listening ever since.

I saw them in 2007 in Washington DC when they played with Tiger Army. They were awesome!!!
