@norcalbirdz Well his russian is really funny, because it is a language difficult to pronounce right, I suppose other languages just sound wrong and terrible, but russian is very cool that way - it sounds very funny when pronounced wrong :)

Having an accent and complete wrong pronounciation is not the same. In this video the last is the case. He doesn't know the words he pronounce. he just immitate the words like a parrot. And that's a huge difference to actually be able to pronounce the words correctly. Accent doesn't bother at all in that case.

Having an accent isn't a problem. But in this case it is that some American tries to speak in a language he can't speak at all. If Sutherland could speak russian at least a bit his pronounciation would be way better - with american accent. The same thing happened when he spoke German. He cant speak German, so his pronounciation is simply wrong. It is no accent, it is just wrong pronounciation.
