Righties are lefties for lefties. A leftie sees the exact same thing as you, the opponent's active arm is on the same side as yours, so I don't see how they can have any advantage. Perhaps only because they get to practice with right handed fencers more, that's about it, but it can't be a very big advantage otherwise all the great champs would be lefties and that's not the case.

Left handed guys have a great advantage in fencing in my point of view. It's difficult to avoid steel contact whith them while attacking.
