Phantasy Star II (SG) Final Battle

Final Battle for Phantasy Star II for the Sega Genesis. Truth be told this is from the Phantasy Star Collection for Gameboy Advance but I never noticed a real difference from the genesis version other than screen resolution.

I personally don't care for the new PS games. I was hoping PSU/O would take place back in the Algo system but it didn't. That really disappointed me, being a longtime fan of the series and all.

@816bitRemake Yo I hear you man, for me it's the same with FF8.

It's hands down my favorite game and the most influential aspect in my life (sadly) I played it when I was like 8? maybe alittle younger, got it again 5 years ago, but towards the end I just stopped. Like I really don't want to see the end, I'm now 20 and I still can't find it in me to let go.

When I was a kid I managed to get to the last boss but never managed to defeat it. I was probably to young to muster the will to get all the xp needed. So I quit despite PS2 being the best game I've ever played. But now and again I would play through PS2 always reaching the last boss but never having the courage to play it through. I think I'm afraid that the saga of PS2 for me would be at an end if I did play it through. Now I'm 28 and still I don't want to know how it ends.

@streeTkiDwannaBe I'm aware of those, if nothing else it was cool of them to some sidequests to be able to revive Nei and the crystal system in 1 and limit breaks in 2. I don't like the slower pace judging from the videos and the new death place music isn't as good. Two's remake of Rise or Fall, however, is awesome.

@jaymthegenius They kind of already did a couple remakes. Phantasy Star Generation 1 & 2 (which were remakes of PS1 & PS2) which were released in Japan on the Playstation 2. Never came to Europe or North America due to Sony cancelling those plans and not allowing Sega to publish them outside Japan.
