Thanks Simon for your concern about animals, especially the Tasmanian Devil. For those who don't live in Autralia (I'm from France), it's important to make people understand the importance of saving species abroad. I hope people will feel concerned by the faune and flaura in the world

I saw a program on the National Geographic Channel about this horrific disease. The cancer is spread by the devils biting each other. Unfortunately they bite when feeding, fighting and even breeding. Because they live on an island were almost extinct years ago, the inbreeding has caused them to all have similar genetics. That is why the cancer is able to spread. Watch this show you it is very interesting.

Helping to preserve our nature & wildlife is something which should matter to all of us. This planet with all its beautiful wildlife diversity is our home & we certainly should take much better care of it. So many species have already been lost for good & left our world poorer & many more species just like the Tassie Devil are still threatened with extinction.

Thank you for this video, even though it's actually very upsetting 'cos I didn't know anything about the disease the poor Tasmanian devils are being affected by :(
It's a shock, I've never heard anything about here where I am (in England) They are so cute, I especially love the one being held by the person in the zoo! Simon is as lovely & sweet as always, he's so handsome :~) And you can tell he genuinely cares about the Tasmanian devils plight; he's fantastic!
