The 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee gets an all-new 290-horsepower 3.6-liter V6. It's much more powerful and fuel-efficient than the previous generation V6. A 360-hp V8 is still available if MPG is no object.

The 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee is a five-passenger midsize SUV that comes in Laredo, Limited and Overland trims. Each is available in 4x2 and 4x4 configurations.

A five-speed automatic transmission is standard. Fuel economy with four-wheel drive is an estimated 16 mpg city and 22 mpg highway.

Cool features include the drive-mode selector, ride height adjustments, and remote start.

  • yeeehaaaaaaa,USA is getting the CRD in Sep.about time chrysler

  • I would say 90% of jeeps don't go off road. So that's not true to say you buy a jeep for off road. You buy a wrangler for off road. This is too nice for off road

  • @snickerdoodle24 I like the Evoque, but I should buy the GC, I loove the GC (;

  • @skittleschocolate well what chrysler products that have been available in uk/europe have been well less then driveable or desirable except maybe the viper tho i am seeing a slow change for the better for chrysler but they still have along way to go but its a start. Hopefully fiat can keep up putting some style and quality into chrysler products. Tho with lancia products (example delta) being rebadged chrylers for both the UK and USA markets should give a boost there to.

  • FINEEEEE. haha i'll give it to you with land rover and jag. can we come to an agreement on chrysler products now?

  • @skittleschocolate i work on both land rovers and jags and reliability has come on light years in the past few years the main fact i would say is buy post ford ownership since then things have got alot better and the new 5.0 v8 should squash any reliability worrys but like i say buy 2009 onwards after jlr started to get proper funding and the 5.0 v8 replaced the dodgey 4.2.

  • Would you recomend this for a first car?

  • great great review

  • @snickerdoodle24 also the fine print in most warranties makes them virtually useless. and most of the problems will cost you (the dealer charges a service fee to find the problem, (100/hr) and if it's not covered (50/50 chance) it's all out of pocket. the jeep is a beautiful car though.

  • @snickerdoodle24 don't BUY either. never buy a chrysler line or anything british. only lease. if you're not against japanese and want luxury, look at the lexus GX. traditional sportiness, toyota 4 runner. my mother has the lx and we've never had problems with it. she looked at the range rover sport, but shied off when she read reliability ratings
