Using what is available for everyone is as REAL as it gets. Conventional architecture is not necessarily more "advanced" especially since it is so labor, capital and resource intensive. Seems like we're getting to a point when we simply will not have the means to sustain conventional architecture. Maybe it's a chance to rethink what is progress. Mimicking patterns in nature, using basic laws of gravity and physics is as REAL as it gets.
Using what is available for everyone is as "REAL" as it gets. Complicated technology that is capital intensive is not at all real, or available for most of the world. In the U.S., it seems like we're headed in that direction. Our ancestors had it right. And we may have no other choice but to go back, in order to go forward. In fact, using gravity, basic physics and implementing patterns in nature is as real as it gets.
