Tragically Hip - pole dance to Fully Completely & Wheat Kings

The end of summer marks the end of X. I sold my Xpole - I'm going to miss it, fully and completely.

Moreover, I have lost my "pole studio" at my grand-mother's. The house will either be sold or rented ASAP so that leaves only my place to pole in with it's low ceilings. I'm back to short pole & having my old PS shipped to me.

I hope you enjoy the CanCon, more music from the Tragically Hip, a fantastic band. This vid is my goodbye dance to my Xpole & tall ceilings. I was super rusty as I have not really danced all summer opting to play outdoors instead, my grip is noticeably weaker but I still got death lay for the first time (3 times) not great, not horizontal but still got it, unfortunately, the camera cut off my feet so it looks like crucifix. Also got jade, gotta work on those splits!!!

is "CBC Radio3Sessions_ 2009-09-16" it's free on the CBC site. The Aysha lunchbox at 1:36 was fantastic...and again at 4:26 . A nice, LONG extension in the ex-butt at at 1:49 ...so beautiful when it's stretched out like that. What is the hybrid move called at 2:38 ? (Subhand supporting a 1/2 gemini 1/2 hip hold) I like that move! Loved all of the Eros moves...always my favorite. I'll miss that house and studio...I remember the "bad old days" when you had to avoid hitting the bed post on spinny!

Hey Joel, i really don't know what that move is called. Hero and apprentice are similar but not with hooked legs. It's something I do to stretch my spine i guess??? Yes, relegated to short ceilingland again. My first love (skinny Platinum stages) is on its way. At least I won't have furniture to contend with, the basement is huge and I can push all the furniture away. Do you mean the Can Music Awards? I like to use torrents for downloads but French music is hard to come by.

Of course it popped into my head about an hour later...the POLARIS award. It's given to the best album of the year to newer bands as judged on artisitic merit by a comittee of musicians and music writers. He had some good cuts from the Great Lakes Swimmers--I LOVE that band. There is an earlier podcast of that band at the NorthEast by NorthEast Festival last year in (Halifax?), too on the CBCRADIO3 website.
