  • what aircraft is this a what 194 195? I work for northrop grumman in sta augustine and i know a 195 was the 1st plane to get the 8 blade prop//

  • I couldn't tell ya. I was just along for the ride. I know that it's NOT a Hawkeye 2000 if that means anything.

  • Sounds like a S-3?

  • It's an E-2 with the 8 bladed props, it makes it sound different than the 4 blades.

  • I was a C-2A crewman and we would spend 4 hours non-stop doing FCLP's. It was one of those flights everyone tried to get out of.

  • Too fast, no yellow AOA doughnut; that would have been a wave off or a bolter had it been on a carrier.

  • This would be a "touch and go" right? Thanks for sharing. I see these guys fly over my house everyday in Norfolk. It's cool to see it from their point of view.

  • This is not as easy as it looks.
