2009 諏訪神社祭り下仁田日本
Shimonita's Fall festival.
All 9 areas of town pull large carts called Dashi from their headquarters to the Suwajinja Shrine to meet and on the way they pull the Dashi as close as they can to each other and battle it out Taiko style. I ran and played taiko with Asahicho (旭組) whose name means Morning Sun - very cool people and an amazing display of community!
