Ants Eating Worm - The Ultimate Survivalists

This worm had already passed into the spirit world, so these ants were merely cleaning up. They're most industrious, and while they look like they're wandering, they're highly efficient.

From what I could discern, these ants were draining the fluid from the worm's carcass. I saw no indication of the ants removing any body parts. It rained later that day, so I never did find out if the worm had been completely devoured.

Ants are the ultimate preppers. Their strength is off the charts and they stockpile food in their colonies to consume during winter. I tried to find where they were stockpiling their food so I could ransack their booty, but they're ever so stealthy so it remains a mystery.
