A fun little two-movement sonata from Haydn, played superbly by Glenn. Glenn Gould certainly loved Haydn, and it is a shame that he was never able to record any more of the sonatas.

  • A wonderful revelation of what Haydn's unique piano music can communicate to anyone attuned like Gould to the deeper registers of this composer's playful and joyful temperament and compositional style and one of the versatile wonders that Glenn Gould was capable of as a great virtuoso. Thanx for sharing this little musical gem.
