Hi Mellon, thanks for watchin'! I just used those images to get an example of value range. They both have a nice variety of tonal values.

Hi catnapjunkie, it's just an airbrush and a smeary round (found in the oils) I made a few variations of those(hit ctrl+b to go to the brush creator to tweak 'em). Thanks for the comment!
