Cruise Ship Travel Tip #10 - Smoking

If You Smoke - If you smoke it's most convenient to smoke in your room but be sure the other person or persons are also smokers. If it happens that one of the persons sharing your room is a non-smoker please plan on smoking outside in the designated areas. Be aware that many cruise companies are prohibiting smoking in any of the staterooms. Find out in advance exactly where the designated smoking areas are located. It's also important to know that it's against the rules as well as a safety hazard to throw your cigarette butts overboard. Also there are not many ashtrays so a small personal ashtray that fits in your pocket could come in handy.

I remember a good few years ago me and my mum where sitting in a pub in an airport, people were aloud to spoke but above the bar where these huge air fans so i wasnt getting a load of smoke in my face in a stuff airport and it was a nice breeze.. I never have nor intend to smoke, its a shame more bars didnt do this tho cause it didnt bother me or anyone else at all :)

Back when smoking was allowed everywhere (including hospital rooms and movie theaters), I never smoked nor complained or cared about other people smoking. Now that it's illegal almost everywhere, I smoke wherever I can. Screw all you cry baby whiners about "second hand smoke".
