To get mythic difficulty you have to turn on all GOLD skulls because they make you get more points on campaign scoring. SILVER skulls are just for fun so they do not make the game any harder.
Legendary difficulty + Gold skulls = Mythic difficulty

did you have too go turtle speed while you where chooseing them?

corect. you must turn on every singel one,(skull) and have on legendary, then you have on mythic Difficulty. if you complete the game, wait for the credits to be done. you will see something cool
