The Animals - Don't let me be misunderstood (1965)

Awesome song from 'The Animals' !

'Don't let me be misunderstood' charted at #3 in the UK
and #15 in the US in 1965. I thought this was The Animals original,
but it was first released by Nina Simone in 1964, and was composed
by Bennie Benjamin, Gloria Caldwell, and Sole Marcus for her.

I love this song! Taken from my double disc set 'Memories of Pop Favorites'.

For me, this song has such great meaning to it. And like most of the band's music philosophy, I really like the words on the jacket of their 'Winds of change' album (last pic on video).. so I'll put them here...
