It was a very exciting night, listening to Furthur live from TRI studios, on my laptop, poolside...while I was out in California, just amazing quality webcast, Live on the internet and of course this beautiful song Unbroken Chain of the Grateful Dead.. love the way Furthur sounds in the studio thanks for posting this onYT o-o

Way back when tappers were using audio cassettes, we bought albums/records and this was on FROM THE MARS HOTEL which was the type of record you'd play over and over and over again. So glad Furthur is playing Unbroken Chain and Phil is singing...Phil is the bomb at 71!...well, almost 71!

At 71 yrs. young.. playing better than ever.. Phil IS THE MAN.. no doubt.. His astronomical and limitless All-Star Phil + Friends Quartet/Dead Supergroup - circa' 2000-2005 (feat. Lesh, Haynes, Herring, Barraco, Molo) was and is arguably by far the very best EVER "Jamband" of premier rock/jazz musicians of all time.. and created the aftermath of the mighty Grateful Dead now blazing onward.. as Furthur takes us home again. Jerry would be so pleased! And hats off to Mr. Weir also- WE DID SURVIVE!
