5 years ago next week. I can't help but wonder what Arkansas Razorback sports would have been like if he had lived. I cannot help but think that Springdale scandal might have turned out better if had been alive.
sorry for your loss hpickett. I was a fan of Mr. Eels even though never met him in person. He cracked me up, and not only that, I thought his catchphrases were cool. R.I.P. Mr. Eels. ALSO R.I.P. Ms. Pressly, too.
About 7 or 8 years ago my sister, kim, went with her husband and his family to the sec bball tourny. her husbands family is from louisiana. anyway, they were hanging out outside of the arena when paul walked by. my sister said "hey paul!".he walked over and talked to them for a good few minutes.after he walked away, my sisters mother-in-law said "kim, are you related to him?". ha, i remember my sister telling that story when she got back to arkansas. saying he was friendly is an understatement.

I worked with Paul for several years at KATV. He was the nicest person I have ever met. This makes me cry watching it. He is very greatly missed.
