Приглашаем на "Феерический бал", который посол США Джон Байерли дал в Спасо-хаусе 29 октября по мотивам бала 1935 года. Именно тот бал вдохновил М. Булгакова на одну из самых красочных глав в его романе "Мастер и Маргарита". Автор фильма - Виталий Менделеев.
On October 29 Ambassador Beyrle hosted an Enchanted Ball at his residence, Spaso House, to mark the 75th anniversary of Ambassador Bullitt's legendary 1935 Spaso House Ball. The ball inspired Bulgakov to write one of the most fantastical scenes of his renowned novel, "Master and Margarita." To fully appreciate the splendor of the evening, we invite you to watch this video created by Vitaliy Mendeleev.

    США захватили Россию в 1917 году. Ленин не Ульянов, а гражданин США. Именно его имел ввиду Булгаков, описывая Воланда.
