@TalismanRocks if you cannt afford the v8, you probably cannot afford the xc90 maintenence either.. so mb choose something cheaper? Heard Dacias 4x4 is quite reliable and cheap.

@TalismanRocks I think you might want to get a BMW 6 series coupe instead. It is one beautiful car with everything you want and a lot closer to the price you are looking for too. Of course, if Volvo wants to convince me they are better than BMW, they can feel free to give me one of these for my birthday - it is coming up on 3-30 and this is the one I'd want. :-)

How does this handle steep hills, and how is the passing power, does it lag somewhat? We are thinking of getting the XC90, but can't afford the V8, so have to go with the standard 6 cylinder - thoughts?
