Beautifull!
-
it sounds like Giordani's vocal peak was long before his days of fame (which I believe to be nowadays)
-
one of my favorites,,,,
-
in questo periodo della carriera dalle registrazioni mi somiglia un sacco a Giuseppe Di Stefano

Very good. They are both admirable in this (uncut?) dofficult duet, even if he has some early pitch problems. I like his timbre but he could do with more refined subtlety and piano singing. Renee is very young here, inexperienced, her technique still pure, not yet marred by wronf repertoire choices and jazzy affectations. She is superb, and what long breath control! Despite its score cuts, or even because of them, my favorite version remains the 1953 Callas/di Stefano/Serafin recording.

Simply the best you'll EVER hear!
What a high D by Giordani!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't know if he still sings like this, but if anyone knows where and when he is singing anything like this with high high notes ~ please tell me!!

I think he still has a pretty good high range. I know he was still singing high D's in the last Met Il Pirata.
