@Saxonsoldiers well SAXON, I will agree with the BoBmf BUT your on your own for the rest. This aircraft is sold as a reproduction, NOT a replica and I can appreciate ALL the MARK numbers, including these! One day there will only be static REAL Spitfire aircraft so, survival is the name of the game.

Sounds great. I think these aircraft are awesome.  Far better to fly these routinely than put a regal piece of history at risk - ie a real spit with history

@keithrussell Thats as maybe, but would you want it in the Battle of Britain memorial flight? i wouldnt, because in my eyes its not a Supermarine spitfire. Cosmetically it maybe very like one (i stop short of calling it a replica because its not even the exact same size) but in no way shape or form should the Battle of Britain memorial flight have one. Imagine seeing the BoBmf minus a Merlin engined spit, the engine sound is what makes a spit a spit.

@Saxonsoldiers Well saxon .... as someone who has had the good fortune to fly a real Spitfire at Duxford a few years ago and a current owner of a MK 26B, I disagree completely. This machine has the eliptical wings, the turtle deck back and it fly's just like the real one, I have the experience! I have flown over 110 hours on my machine and I just would like to thank Mike O'Sullivan that he had the persistence to get this machine flying for many people to enjoy. Who can afford a real one for FUN?
