Brewer asks temporary tax hike of $1 billion

Also urges $1 billion in spending cuts, using stimulus funds to balance budget

• Asking voters to suspend a provision that requires the state to spend money in certain targeted areas, which would give lawmakers more flexibility on where to cut.

A state Rep. stated at the rally that they had a way to fix All this with NO tax increase (on JD Hayworth program). If she raises taxes this will be her only term!

Hey! Whats with all these patriots? I thought these rallies were just a bunch of right wing extremists & racists? Looks like alot more towns & cities were involved in this event than the liberal media will admit to.

@jfant123 Isn't it possible that we have prevented many terrorist attempts on us thanks to things like the Patriot Act? I understand not wanting to thank Bush but if in retrospect it has helped us, then why deny it?

Exactly what part of my statement said that I agreed with the patriot act, the wars, or that I thought everything is Obamas fault? For the record, the partiot act is illegal and I believe that the current wars are bullshit. I do not like Bush or Obama. You and I probably have more in common than you may care to admit. You sir, should take some of your own advice about thinking prior to speaking.
