  • I ♥ Steampunk!

  • If you think about it, if steampunk is real, the future WOULD suck....we'd have 70% of the population stuck doing work that has extremely negative effects on a bodies health.

  • would i be right in saying that in some alternate universe its all steampunk and they are fantising about a world like our own?

  • The future doesn't always suck, she is absolutely right. It is wrong to confine the future to this overly technological and and highly synthetic vision we have where cities look like science labs and the depths of humanity become whispers of the past.

  • Unrecognized proto-steampunk components were those wonderful sets and props from Disney's "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea", the '60s show "The Wild,Wild West" and "Briscoe County Junior". I've been in this for +/-5yrs, and search past for inspiration. Check out some early French silent films such as "Voyage to the Moon".

  • @Lumenpraebeo Not if the steam powered robots were doing their jobs XP

  • You must get the DVD for this clever documentary

  • @JustSomePerson888 ask the twats who look like that

  • @molecularash - what does that have to do with an alternate parallel world where microchips & microelectronics weren't invented

  • @disgruntledgrrl I'm with you on this.

I'm a recovering Cyberpunk Addict. I now write stories with a Steampunk feel to the fantastic worlds I craft. If only I possessed the ability to draw detailed the retrotechnical things within it. Makes me sad, when the first city mentioned in my book becomes a steam-driven techno-kingdom later in the book. But I shouldn't spoil things...
