I wonder why they decided not to hire a violinist?

Where is the salad Mr Farrell?

Without the string arrangement the song sounds naked... but at the same time the scarcity, the removal of all the texturizing and layering that they did on the album, adds another level of darkness to it.
And Dave Navarro is one of the best guitarists out there (from the opinion of another guitarist). Anybody can come up with really complicated, fast licks. Being creative with very, very little is when it really tests people's abilities. It's like 'take these 3 chords and write a song.'

People say Dave's guitar play isn't great, overly simplistic. They are kinda right, but the dude is creative. He can ring so much flavor out of 2 chords. Ritual de habitual is one of my favorite albums.

Good video, thx for posting. I dont understand whats the point on playing this AMAZING song (or any other Jane song for that matter) on such a low pitch as they did in the NINJA tour. Perrys just too fuckin old and his voice is just too fuckin gone to try to keep ol Jane alive.

You'd really break out in tears if you knew what the song was about. Dave and Perry lost their mothers to a murder and a suicide.

man, i just hear this song and almost break out in tears. I still can't believe i actually saw this incredible band. their connection with their own raw emotions set them aside from everyone else. Yeah, I might be drunk right now, but please understand, that there is no other band that explored these same emotionally uncharted waters..
