  • Hi, Brett, thanks for the information on "Berimbau" and I'm looking forward to hearing more from Bob Mintzer's Brazilian Big Band. From this video I was able to view more links and enjoyed Bob's work with USC ("How to/ 5 Hrs...great!) as well as a beautiful performance by Chico Pinero...obrigado! Paula

  • @curumina1 Do you live in Brazil?

  • Hi, Brett. I'm looking forward to Bob's Brazilian music program. Also, pop over to the Reach 4 Freedom: Heal Child Abuse Music Project when you get a moment. I am planning to executive produce some jazz arrangements for it in 2012/2013 and will be needing some advisors/producers for it. If you have interest and space at the time, I'll reach back to you then. Have a great day!

  • @creatorsparrot Thanks!

  • i dont know if you've ever done it, but as a suggestion why don't you make a short documentary/bio-like video of yourself (possibly once you've reached a certain goal of #subscribers, etc) and tell us about your background in jazz. We all love that your page is all about documenting others in the jazz world, but i'm sure many viewers would appreciate knowing what your experience/instrument/teaching/playing/education background is like in music and/or jazz

  • @livelovelisten100 Good suggestion. Stay tuned.

  • @JazzVideoGuy Southeastern Utah Desert for me, Bret. Come on over to Moab and lets do a Jazz Festival. That is just about all that is missing from the diverse basket of activities that happen here year round. We get to see Paquito D'rivera once a year for the Moab Music Festival but the whole thing is centered around classical music with only a small taste of Paquito's flair. There is a Folk Festival, too, but we really could use a nice Jazz Festival to bring it all together.

  • @leskromer I'm in exile in the Sonoran Desert, in the Great American Southweset

  • Where do operate out of?

  • Your the best! Had a great time meeting you at the Jackets recording session for Timeline! Great work!
