  • 1$ isn't insulting compared to when I traded in a PS2 game at gamestop and they give 50 cents for it then I went back in the next day to get a wii remote and were selling the game used for 8$. NOW THAT IS INSULTING!

  • @AzureRoxe The same thing happened to me the first time I went into Gamestop. I bought a Pokemon Crystal game that froze and crashed frequently and stopped working two weeks later.

I was like 12 back then. Parents couldn't be bother to return the game.

  • @Cynthetik You should see the games they sell. I bought Final Fantasy X a few years back and i really can't believe the condition it was in, it looked like 4 cats had a fight to the death with it. Not only do they rip people off by giving them very little money, they sell the game, even if it's all fucked up and then swear it works perfectly and it's worth the money..

  • The guys from gamestop don't even care about the condition about my game. I traded in a Golden Sun game, UNOPENED and IN A BOX, and they payed me $2.00 for it. When the retail price of the game was $30. What the fuck is up with that?

  • I gave up on consoles and just do PC gaming but i hate it to an extent because my computer could easily be fucked up by a game of mine not properly working

Like L4D2 at one point made me take out my graphics card and put it right back in in order to get it to work properly...

Plus theres windows live for pc and none have you forgotten this im sure

  • Too true. That shit and console makers refusing to allow backward compatibility drove me away from the console gaming scene.

Now I'm a PC gamer who hunts down old school PC games via cheap download on Steam, GOG and Amazon. At least PC games are still playable on the newer operating systems via free patches. And most PC games are now CHEAPER than the console versions.

  • gamestop offered me 5$ for about 10 games and im not gonna lie they werent in the best condition.but thats it 5$ so i gave him an angry look, then i took my games and told the employe "your gonna b out of work in a couple years cause theres not gonna be anymore used games, its all going to be downloadable" then he said get out of my store.

  • Gamestop offered me $0.45 for a game and then I took it to a different and store they made a trade with me : The game for a really huge discount on two DVD titles that were priced at ten dollars or more.

  • ok seriously...why sell a game you payed $60 for...its a waist of money and you'll get screwed in the end anyway...what i suggest is rent the game first...then if you don't like it send it back and if you do like it, buy it if you can afford it...also selling it on ebay isn't a bad idea either...i think i just solved every gamer's problem with this comment...thank you

  • I once sold GameStop a Gameboy SP. They have me 8 friggin dollars for it.

Well they lost one customer indefinitely.
