  • I am from UT & was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2009 as was another girl 5 miles away. Both of us were CDC positive on blood tests. UT doctors say, "We don't have Lyme," & the Infectious Disease Society of America (IDSA) physicians in UT are in complete denial! We were both told, by 2 different UT IDSA physicians that they did not trust LabCorp, the very lab the CDC uses in bioterrorism. It is absolutely useless to see an infectious disease doc. in UT. They will even deny positive tests.

  • I was told, I had Chronic Fatigue Syndrome for years. Another way of saying, we do not know what you are suffering, but here is a label. Although there is a test now for CFIDS, which I have had and do not have. This is LYME, not CFIDS! Either way, life is all about survival...day to day. Most plan their lives, what to do for the weekend and such, we plan...the next plan...hoping it will take us out of this. We try, every new idea we hear of, hoping for a cure. Over and over and over and over.

  • I would say about $80,000 spent on this. Between my BlueCross and my own cash, to finally get an answer, and trying different treatments. Misdiagnosed. OH! Your just bored. Get a job. Please??? I was a very physical person, hiker, biker, kayaker. No more skiing, ice skating, socializing, having a relationship. Need I say more? Interestingly, Bush had it and got his cure. Where is ours???????? Thank you for getting the word out. If it was tweaked in a goverment lab, they have a cure. Right?

  • A mosquito? wow...I'm glad someone is finally acknowledging that. so that may explain why there are a growing number of cases in Florida.

  • Thanks for helping to get word out there for us! We really need this to finally move for us! Its been so long, and no one is doing anything about this! Look at how many people are dying from this.. none of this had to happen. Mainstream medical system has ignored this for too long! Somebody needs to be held accountable! patients did go to Dr when they were sick.. its the Drs that failed us!!

    I say!! THEY ARE GUILTY!

  • Thank you so much, Andy Abrahams Wilson for your riveting documentary and for all your efforts to get the word out on this hidden epidemic. You truly are invaluable to the Lyme community!

I want to mention to Ms. Schwartz that you can get bitten by a tick and never even know that you have. Not to discount the possibility of mosquito bite transmission, not at all. But just want to point out that tick bites are painless, itchless, etc. so that you may not even realize you were bitten. Best wishes
