I am an American and my partner is from Croatia. We have had to live back and forth in eachother's respective countries for almost 3 years. It's horrible living like this, worrying about our existence every day. We will continue to fight, and not let this awful issue tear us apart.

Great Video
The Uniting American Families Act (UAFA) Needs to pass. Our Civil Rights are being violated. We just want to be with the ones we love. Visit 4uafa and become part of the solution. We will not sit in the back of the bus any longer.

I'm going through the same problem and my only hope right now is Canada. I'm a Brazilian citizen and I'm only living in the U.S because of my spouse (he's American). It's hard because the struggle never seems to end. He applied for a Skilled Visa which would allow him to take me with him to Canada thanks to the Canadian Government.

You're right!.I have family in Canada and they told me it's difficult to become a citizen there. However, homosexuals in general are better off in Canada than in the U.S.

Moving to Canada is a posibility, however, it has it's drawbacks too. It isn't all THAT easy to just become a citizen there. I've looked into it and it seems workable, but not all that easy. The same goes for England or the Netherlands (the Netherlands would be my choice) = ) Hail HM Queen Beatrix!!!!!! It'd be great to move back to the "mother land" AND take my Asian boifriend too!!!!! = )

What a wonderful couple and story. I wish them all hope and luck in the world that everything wil ork out for their family. I am living in a foreign country now, and there's a high possibility that I will have a similar situation in the years to come.
