try bottom fishing for kingies some time with live bait (yellowtailers or slimy makeral ) or fresh bait (SQUID OR CUTTLEFISH) you should try it from time to time you'll be suprised what you'll catch

do yous use light gear for fun or do you have better rods and line.

It looks like light gear but its a 25lb G Loomis rod, Diawa Certate Titanium reel with 30lb braid.
That setup makes a very distinctive sound compared to some of the other light rods.
We use Tiagra 50's & 80's thru rollers for big game fishing as seen in some of my other vids.

@TheRickt81 The one in this video was 66cm...Just legal..and yes it was abit of a rat.....There was another one caught same day in my other vid - "Niko n the Coolhand Crew" where you can clearly see it at 70cm...These videos are a couple of years old now....Not too worried about fisheries seeing this mate....LOL...Thanks for watching.
