@devil6330 its always good to put a clear pond sealer on it aswell

@ste6570 did u use any sealant for this mate...i.e epoxy resin or was it o.k. with just the cement? gonna start mine this weekend. great track choice btw :)

@1904geckos , its made of polystyrene with a few coats of wickes rapid set cement thats all...

want some advice from you. i have 10 " redtail catfish, 12" pacu and two 13" walking catfishes. if i make one 3d aquarium background like you wont the fish eat that cement coated polystyrene? plz do reply

@devil6330 i have bristlenose catfish and they are always on the wall and to be honest the cement has started to come off where they are always on it, i only applied a thin coat but it has lasted well over 12 mths so if you apply a good thick coat you should be ok for years...hope this helps..

the background is made of polystyrene coated with rapid set cement, cost me about £15.
