  • When I first saw this concert DVDs and I watched this song, I thought "how remarkable David Gilmour can do that with that Talk Box, although I thought it

was a special microphone set up for him to put his mouth in it to make the sounds. So Thank you for the upload which is stunning, and the information on the Talk Box as well as why Stephen Hawkings is on it. I didn't understand that until you explained it. :)

  • @PinkPrism008 Thanks Patty, one thing I find remarkable is how David seems to be able to master any musical instrument he puts his hands on. When Joe Walsh used it, it was experimental and really was developed by Bob Heil, Joe Walsh's brother and Joe Walsh who did an incredible piece on Rocky Mountain Way. David does another masterful instrumental with it, and uses it in context with the song meaning as well, pure genius.

  • This is yet another great song on Pulse. David Gilmour has so much class, he's in a league of his own. I've been thinking about getting this DVD, & this video helps to justify buying it.

  • @acadianfever You will be very happy to have it, the continuity and power of the entire performance cannot be imparted fully with single clips on YT. The DVD set is 4 hours of pure bliss to any PF fan.

  • PS:recorded in 1994 and relase in 1995..

  • Greatest band ever, greatest live performance ever, greatest guitarist ever... Perfection.

If only I could be so grossly incandescent.

  • oooooh we have a person without ears here in the dislike bar lol

  • The music by itself is divine, but the visuals (the rotating symbols, the lasers, and the color washes) move me to tears. It all comes together into something indescribably beautiful and epic.

  • its really hard to explain to your friends your crush on a 65 year old rock star. especially when you're 15. anyways, this song is great, live or recorded. great album. long live floyd!~
