@Hungerth i heard that in training, a way to counter an aggressor with a baton is to close the distance, and try and make contact with their arm and try to catch it.

well if you are going to wack someone then i don't think he will really try to grab it, wouldn't it be hard to grab? wouldn't it just smash your hand?

I always leave some of the handle protrude for hammer blows when getting close. It also makes the baton easier to weild.

I bought one of these caps and put it inside a tube sock, increasing the socks combat effectiveness by at least 70%.
